There are opportunities to become members either as an affiliate, business and supporter, individuals and family, or students and schools which can be seen below:

Affiliate
Requirements:
- Host at least one mangrove planting a year
- Sponsor backyard and/or classroom nurseries at organization or in the community
- Connect organization’s core work to mangrove conservation & restoration
- Active sharing and engagement with BMA content on social media
- Financial, volunteerism, and/or in-kind contributions
- Assist in multi-sector network and alliance building
- All requirements of subsequent categories

Businesses & Supporters
Requirements:
- Financial, volunteerism, and/or in-kind contributions
- Assist in multi-sector network and alliance building
- Inclusion in in-house advertising to corporate audience

Individuals & Families
Requirements:
- Sign up to BMA email list
- Like/follow BMA alliance member accounts
- Promote BMA membership within home community
- Assist in mangrove propagule collection for mangrove restoration

Students & Schools
Requirements:
- Community service hours
- Individuals: 20 hours annually to BMA community service projects
- Schools: Group participation with 10 or more students in BMA activities
- Sign up to BMA email list
- Like/follow BMA alliance member accounts (and encourage families and friends to follow suit)
- Assist in mangrove propagule collection for mangrove restoration
